ollie said:No, they are being sold here by Loyalist Arms on the East coast-for almost 500 bucks a pop! Supposed to be some new Longbranch ones in the bunch, complete with armorers tags. The bolts are all loose, but they claim to be matching them up to the right guns!?
Dear Customer,
A few weeks ago, you had expressed some interest in a quantity of Lee
Enfields , (Longbranch models) offered by Euroarms in Italy..
We have recently heard from Euroarms and they are now ready to export to
Canada.
These No.4 rifles are in very good to excellent condition with 80-100%
bluing on the metal and most still have the original tags
signed by the inspector at the Canadian armory. Most of the wood stocks are
in excellent to factory new condition.
There is also a quantity of No.1 rifles in good - very good condition.
These ones have a few bumps or scratches, however according to Euroarms, the
metal parts show little wear and most of the bluing is in tact.
The bores and barrels are good-very good.
According to Euroarms, all the Lee Enfields need, is a little cleanup and
then can be fired.
Both rifles will be priced the same @ $446.00 each cdn. (The Euro dollar
exchange and air freight costs account for the pricing).
Tax and shipping to your location from Halifax will be extra.
At present we do not know how many L.E's Euroarms still has on hand.
I am assuming that many European dealers have already bought the bulk of
them.
Bayonets are available @ $115.50 for sword type No.1
$33.49 for the spike No. 4 style.
Delivery to Halifax will be 60-90 days after payment is made and order
confirmed.
Euroarms takes the enitre month of August off for the summer.
We will have to put together a volume order to make the shipment worthwhile
so an order for just a couple will not do.
I am hoping there will be enough interest in these things to warrant a large
shipment from Italy.
Hope these may still be of interest to someone out there. If so, just let us
know.
We will need some responses in 1 week so that we can pass the message onto
Euroarms to please hold a quantity for us.
Loyalist Arms will not be stocking any of these rifles. We will merely be
importing them as required, should there be enough demand..
Hope this is helpful.
Your Servant,
Blair Higgins.

Dear Mr.Ridley,
I apologize for the delay in my update but we are very busy with the big
lot.
I confirm you that the Enfield are still for sale, are available and we are
going to sell them all over the world.
At the moment we do not have any agreement with any Canadian distributor and
we are not selling the Enfield abroad because we have many requests from our
Italian customers to satisfy first.
Beside that the work of checking them, cleaning and matching the bolts is
quite long.
I'll certainly inform you about the Canadian distributor (I suppose you are
canadian from your e-mail address) as soon as we'll have one.
In the meantime you can have a look at some pictures connecting with

The text is still in Italian but we are going to translate it soon
Thanks again for the interest in our products and please fell free to
contact me for any question you may have.
Best Regards
Paolo Amadi
Claven2 said:$500 for a decent LB is a little on the hight side, unless it was unissued. The pics I've seen wouldn't support that.
Now, if they could guarantee a No.1MkIII with volleys, I'd slap $500 down right away.
