How often do you go into the gun safe and rub your red rifles?

I was thinking about going in there right now and handling a few. I usually open it up every 2 weeks but in the sumer I am shooting them every weekend but I the winter they usually stay in the safe like a corvette under a car cover in the garage. keeping them rust free and in top shape for ever.

I was thinking about it but then you made me remember my corvette in my garage and now I'm thinking about that :(

Im guessing you have a C6 corvette? Which year and model? I am poor I guess or just older. I have the red headed step child of the corvette family and his younger brother. Yes the 1984 crossfire C4 corvette, I like it because it is strange with thea engine but I did put the controversial renegade intake on it and it improved the power lots but not compared to your fast ride. I also bought a 1985 corvette cheap on ebay for $3000, it was a rescue project, added 3.54 rear gears and a bunch of other bolt ons. Cheap fun projects.

Is your vette stock or modified?

Please don"t make fun of my old crappy vettes and if I wave to you please don't give me the finger me on the highway. C4 owners are people too.

Mine is stock basically as far as engine goes. I disabled the special butterfly valve exhuast to keep them open all the time, and disabled a gas saving 1st to 4th gear thing that was annoying. Inside I've added a 6.2" screen and had a custom box built for a 10" sub. Id eventually like to supercharge it but it depends where money and priority falls.

As far as the Original question Id say at least a couple times a week. I can't think of a week going by I don't take something out to check out and enjoy.

My Red rifles get a special kind of love..... Once every couple of weeks I rub them down with a dirty grease rag and some Birchwood Casey oil to keep them from rusting XD

I'm so glad I joined gun nutz. I was beginning to think I was weird or something. I handle my red rifles 3-4 times a week.

Well me and my friend try to shoot weekly so I'm in there cleaning them on a random weeknight and then handling them and organizing my ammo OCD style every weekend.
I carry at work tho so I'm spoiled. It curbs my
Need to open my personal safe lol.

at least once a week. and whenever I buy something new, that jumps up to daily or more than that even.

when it dry in the winter less often, but i still check them regularly to make sure they are oiled and still looks pristine.
