born ?
You know I'm stuck in the house with cold weather when I'm
trying to find information this trivial

I sent an e-mail to Remington 'bout a week ago asking the same question and I thought
it was lost in cyber-land,........this AM I recieved an answer from them
with the age of my rifle..........very impressed.

Who'd a thot that someone there would take the time to answer a trivial
