How old is this 'new' Federal Classic ammo

Saw some Federal Classic, 38 +P, 158 gr., SWHP (lead) for sale at the local shop.

Blue and grey box, with blue lines on it. Federal in red.

I looked on Federal's site, but they do not list this anymore (that I could see).

I think the model # is 38G.

Anyone familiar with it? Is it old?

It appears to be current manufacture. Lots of U.S. retailer sites list Federal Classic ammo. Why it's not on Federal's site only they can tell you.

I'm pretty certain that the Federal Classic has simply been re-branded and re-packaged now as Federal Power-Shock.
