How rare if at all is left hand Remmy 788 in 6mm ?

Looking for some info on the rifle in title. I've never had much to do with anything other than Winchesters so this is new to me. It has an old weaver 4 power scope which I would think is about the same vintage as the rifle. Some info online but seems a bit conflicting about left hand bolt.

Left bolt right eject. Not that common but I wouldn’t call them rare. The 788 is a very accurate rifle. Triggers need work but can be made excellent with a couple gunsmith added screws.
 
On EE it will be listed as rare in reality not uncommon
The 308 version is quite common
They were made from 67 to about 81-82 then redesigned the 788 built it for a few more years and then dropped it competitive the left hand version was not produced in the the production run
Very good rifles uneducated reloaders would load them to max pressures causing the bolts to seize in the action then they would best on the bolt handle and it would separate from the bolt body
They had rear locking and that was the reason for the bolt handle sepersyion
 
I bought a 788 LH in 6mm for my oldest daughter to hunt with. [She's a southpaw]
It was astonishingly accurate with bullets from 70 grain right up to 105 grain.
She whacked several deer with it, plus one immature bull moose.. Always worked
great. She sold it once she started raising her family. I should have bought it and
kept it. :) Dave.
 
I have a LH 788 in 308. In my almost 11 years in South Sakatchewan, took about thirty whitetail deer.
Not the prettiest rifle, but its very accurate.

This and the 6mm were the only LH variants.
Other calibers of 788: 222, 222 mag, 223, 243, 7-08, 30-30 and 44 mag.
I have never seen myself the 222 magnum. And these last two mentioned are the least common chamberings next to that magnum.

Picked up a Left handed one in 6mm Remington around Christmas time, appeared almost unfired after all these years. Of course I fired it and it lives up to it's name. Had a LH one in 308 about 15 years ago - same.
 
Hard to find a 6mm LH, in 3 or so years only came across 2-3.
From what I saw, they ran around 8-900 or so.
Would rather buy something like a carl gustaf or 110 though, better quality.
 
While I have not seen them often, I have probably seen more LH in 6mm than other cartridge over the past 40 years in western Canada on the used gun racks, and even into the 90's they were selling in the $300 dollar range...just didn't get one back then as moose rifles were more of a priority than deer rifles, for me. And I have always been on the look out for lh rifles.
