I can't find a screwdriver long and wide enough...I guess I might have to swing by to Canadian Tire or something...that thing is on tight!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can anyone let me know how the heck you did it???

thanks.

Big long flat head screwdriver with a square shaft, lol.
Put a vise grip on the shaft of the screwdriver and work it loose. If possible spray some wd-40 or something inside the reciever where the bottlm of the screw is maybe inbetween the reciever and stock aswell. They are in there good.

thanks guys! I guess Im off to canadian tire to get a jackhammer! lol

Already have a 12 pack at home waiting for me. lol

Joke, please do not use a saw. I used a ratchet, extension, big slotted end, plenty of grunting.

Thanks again. Couldn't for the life of me do it with a large screwdriver...going to shop again for a large screwdriver bit for my socket wrench...gebus...lol

When you get the socket put it and the extension in the screw and give it a good wack with a hammer. Just be carefully when you do this. It may help loosen it up

I bought a long slotted screw driver with a hex shaped shank so you could put a wrench on it.

Had to shape it with a grinder so it didn't tapper in at the end and fit the screw head better. It was in there REALLY tight. It will go "SNAP!" when it finally breaks free.

It took me holding the gun as tight as I could while my buddy reefed on it with a big screwdriver. Lots of grunting, swearing, wrestling back and forth etc but it finally came loose. It would have looked funny to someone watching but man that thing was in there tight.
