How to accidentally discharge your pistol properly.

Good or bad it makes no difference, he modified the gun without the proper knowledge and likely the proper tools. Disabling a safety device is just plain dumb. Any unintentional discharge is bad and wrong.

You dont know that. That is nothing more that you making up stuff to support you position.

There is no "safe direction" only SAFER directions. Had he been loading his pistol for CCW and sent a round through his house would that be ok?

LOL sure OK

Must be real hard for you to use your guns with no safe direction to shoot them at the range or in the woods hunting

And yes it would be "ok" if he lit off a round in his house and it didn't hit anyone or him self. Just like it was on the range in the video.

If he had done the gunsmithing properly then he wouldn't have had a negligent discharge would he? Any round fired that was not intentional and any damage to person or property that was not intentional is a problem. Obviously human life comes first but it doesn't excuse the ND.

you should step off your soap box.

So, I've watched this video half a dozen times now - and looped the discharge over a dozen times. It is clear through most of his handling that his finger is clear of the trigger, but at the moment of discharge, I can't see that. Now the RO says he could could clearly see it - but also points to floor and says the bullet hit there. I disagree. Maybe he didn't see everything as well as he remembers.

Interesting video, but I couldn't see enough to convince me.

Rob!
