I've been looking at getting a STAG 10 preferably in 308 and if possible LH.
Thing is I can never seem to find it in stock especially as a LH. I would prefer one of the lower priced ones as I am new to the sport.
Should I get on a waiting lost at my local shop? Check suppliers daily or is there some warning I am unaware of before they arrive?

STAG-10 LH 308 have been backordered all spring. We were told on Friday that we can expect LH backorders to start shipping to us this week.

Are you a lefty? I'm a lefty.
I have been owning and shooting ARs for decades.
I own a dozen or so AR-15s, & AR-10s (KAC, STAGs, Colts) and while I have installed Ambi mag releases and Ambi safeties on all of them, not one of them is a lefty model.

If you are starting out with ARs, I'd really recommend a .223/5.56 model, but if you are set on a '10', you would be well served with going with this one:

Wow CGN is WAY better than using Google.
Emailed Arms east.
For the sake of discussion I wanted to skip 5.56 and go straight to 308. For competitions I'm not gonna win any awards except for maybe most improved, so it's for fun and I'm okay with that. Also a 308 means I can hunt as well as play at the range. 6.5 is tempting but no mil surp ammo.

Again thanks to everyone for the feedback.

I have a Stag AR-15 and a Stag 10 in 6.5 CM both in LH. It’s nice they make a product for us lefties. Yes a RH rifle will work but I prefer left eject. I was told Stag Arms moved from Connecticut to Wyoming recently so there was a lull in production but hopefully they’re back up and running.
