how to Co-witness ?

I am curious as to how to co-witness sites. I have an eotech and flip up magpul sites. Do i site the eotech and line up the flip ups? or do the flip ups then the eotech?

If you can see the BUS through the Eotech, all the better.

I can't, so I sight in my optic and my BUS by themselves.

I have the same setup as you, after I sighted in my Eo my MBUS just lined up automatically. You cant use any risers though, everything has to be stock height.

I started shooting my AR with fixed irons.
When I added the Aimpoint(with a med height mount) it was easy to place the dot on the front post...instant absolute co-witness.
