How to correct too much lemi-shine while wet tumbling

I use a hand pump loaded with Dawn to wash my hand's in the bathroom. About 1/2 pump for that. But when tumbling I use 5 complete pump's. 6 if it's the first tumble with dirty brass.
Soap's cheap

Other than aesthetics does it matter if the brass is brown? I have had my last two batches come out like this.

Are you sure that the liquid lemi-shine is the same stuff as the crystals? I have in front of me a container of the crystals, which works good, and one of liquid "lemi-shine Rinse/performance booster. It doesn't work worth sh!t for shining up the brass.
Another possibility... have you used graphite to lube the inside of your case necks? A wee little bit will make your brass look darker, and takes a while to get cleaned out of the pins/inside of the drum. Ask me how I know this.

I must say I'm not convinced about liquid lemi-shine.

I bought the crystal version and ran a new batch, they were the shinest of all the batches.

As far as I'm concerned, I won't use liquid lemi-shine anymore. I'll update this thread if I manage to make the brown brass shiny again (after a few more use/tumble)
