How to discern a real Leupold scope from a knock-off?

It's something like a $500 billion global industry now. In simple terms, everything conceivable is being counterfeited, with a great deal of it unknowingly being sold to consumers at this point. Ebay simply doesn't have the time or manpower to police all the items, nor does the CBSA, RCMP, or anyone else that should be trying to stop the influx of this garbage.

I think another major factor is that all of the organizations listed above really don't care either.

Anything coming from china from not a parent company should be seized and inspected. Any knock-off should earn them an import ban.

I see so many fake product on Facebook marketplace it's unreal. They sell GG belt for "cheaper" than the real, so many people must think they are real.
