How to get a dent out of an aluminum frame

Turn it into a "design feature"....use a ball end mill and cut a groove from one side to the other that just happens to remove the dent.

The mark of a craftsman is the ability to take f-ups and make them look like they were done on purpose ;)

The guy are correct in that the finish is an applied coating. I had the same thing on my para, trying to fix it was a mistake on my part as my repair is far more noticeable than the blemish ever was
 
If its anodized forget what I said about bead blasting.
Just smooth it out a bit so it doesn't rub your finger and hit the range!
