Sorry in advance if this is already on the forum, i wasn't able to find it. However does anyone know how to get Boyd stocks shipped to Canada? Or if any Canadian retailers carry them. Looking to get their tacitcool for my Mark II.
Thanks!

The good news definitely is that Boyds can and does now ship practically everything they make to Canadian buyers! But that said, many Canadian retailers are now also carrying Boyds stocks. Dlask has a few different ones in stock on their website and I have recently seen Boyds stocks on the shelf at The Shooting Edge in Calgary.

FYI:
I recently ordered a stock from Boyd's because the colour I wanted was not available from Dlask. With exchange, shipping, customs fees, etc. the final price was almost identical to buying from Dlask, so don't expect to save money by ordering direct. Ordering from Boyd's does give you a lot more colour, customizing and finishing options.

Are these ITAR items?

Probably cant get one shipped to a PO box across the border eh?

Shipping to Canada is a killer...
I had one shipped to Blaine Wa. No problems picking it up or getting it back to Canada. I also informed the border officers going down and coming back what I was doing and informed them before they asked. Paying for said item from Boyds was the tricky part and I cannot divulge how I got through their protocols without violating CGN policies. As far as ITAR items, I don't know that. I had heard someone shipping them up here declaring the item to be wooden sporting accessories

they are unwilling to ship to a US address if paying with canadian credit card/billing address

seems only option is to find an importer that is willing to buy the stock for you...so not prophet river...anybody recommend one?
or a US friend to buy and ship to US importer address

jesus man you make it sound like your importing black tar heroin or something.
go to their web page, pick the stock you want, pay for it and they send it to you.
they DID have one style of stock that was blocked from export due to the name of it but they have since changed the name and are able to export it freely now.
Boyd's has an export license for up to $500 per purchase per individual.

You've been here long enough now you should know lots of people on here like to make things as hard for themselves as they can. When really its a 5 min process.

Its really simple.
Go to boyds web site.
Find stock you want.
Add custom options to a total of less then $500 (if you want)
Then add to cart
Now pay for it
Wait patently.

Actually, customs only charges you GST. The additional 10 bucks goes to canada post as a ridiculous handling fee that they get for collecting the GST from you and sending it to canada customs to pay your outstanding GST invoice. It's institutinalized extortion, but what can ya do?

Here's mine just got it yesterday.

Pro Varmint for a Sako aIII. It was 160 shipped plus border canada customs added on 10 for I don't know why.

how do you like the Pro Varmint AKA the old Tacticool?
ive been tossing around the idea of picking one up for my 10/22 tack driver.
ive got the Boyd Blaster on another 10/22 and love it, just unsure if that Tacticool is worth the 160.
ive currently got a Hogue Overmolded on it.
