Hi,

I've managed to mix all my spare parts together including my spare recoil and hammer springs. Is there a way to differentiate them? The gun in question is a stock 3

thanks

The recoil spring is much, much longer and larger diameter than the hammer spring.
Hope this helps.

Sorry, short of having a spring scale - there's no solution. I've been down this road with 1911 springs personally - still have a bag of mystery springs in a drawer here somewhere.

Any way to tell a Tanfoglio spring from another manufacture?
No, and this speaks generally about all firearms manufacturers. In most cases, the manufacturers are getting their springs from the same spring companies that people buy "aftermarket" springs from. Ie. STI installs Wolff Springs.
