How does one transport and store a restricted firearm that has a folding trigger like on those French Belgian, RIC, Austrian etc revolvers that are also not antiques?
On the example of the Belgian pocket revolvers, they have loading gates which also prevents any snake action lock from looking from the barrel into the cylinder and into the loading gate.
Would I have to store the cylinder locked away from the pistol similar to how people transport full auto firearms? Or is there a less stupid way to do this that doesn't involve carrying an extra hard case?
The other thing one could do (on certain revolvers only) is to loop the cable lock through the feeding gate and out from the front thus rendering the "Action" locked. But I'm not sure that counts as a "legal" lock since the cylinder is removable this way and one could hypothetically put another cylinder into the restricted firearm to function again.
