I have old Lee Enfield 303 and wasn't too happy with trigger being too heavy and sticky. Sooo, naturally I take bolt out and take some metal off the ridge that trigger slides on ( I don't know what would it be called). At that point I thought its a good idea, change the angle a little bit and polish it and everything should be nice and smooth. Right? If angle is steeper than trigger should slide with less effort. Well, it does, trust me, but the trouble is - bolt only goes to the first click, not all the way down and I think rifle will not fire the way it is now.
Now, I wonder what would be the right way to fix sticky and heavy trigger? I mean, since I screwed it up already I may as well ask you what did
I do wrong.
And how to take stock off the rifle, I coeldn;t figure that out
