How to make the Tapco magazine work in Russian SKS

I bought the TAPCO sks magazine, and i remember seeing you have to modify your russian SKS rifle to make it work.

I cant find the link. Anyone help me out?

mine just clicked in, no mods, but i also have a tapco stock, a friend of mine just had to trim some of the wood stock.... id also do the drop free mod its a must with detachable mags

The mag should go in no problem. As suggested above, you may need to shave a bit of wood off of it, but it shouldnt require too much modification. Just have a look on youtube for SKS Tapco Magazine installation or something like that and you'll get a wave of videos showing how its done.

some times i shave the front top corners of the mag if they are tight. Clean up the wood first.

Question for you guys,Can you still use the stripper clips and load it the same way with a Tapco Mag?

if you mod the mag a lil it works, but stock it doesnt feed in all that great
