Interesting, is the foreend plastic or rubber overmold?

And what flashlights does it accept?

I think it will still be ok with 14" barrel, wont stick out too much....am I correct?
 
Folks, use caution with the G2 as a weapon light on a shotgun. Carbine is ok most of the time but the recoil from shotgun is noticably heavier. Not only is there a concern with the lack of a shock isolated bezel, there is also a concern of battery isolation from recoil. dedicated "shotgun" lights should have this.

I agree with Boltgun. I've subjected my G2 to quite a few rounds of 9mm through a carbine with not problem but it's not rugged enough for many rounds of 12 gauge.
 
Ive had a cheapo tacstar clamp on my 2shot extension with a mini-maglight for years and years through many many rounds. No rubber bushing, all metal on metal.

Never once have I had it break or anything of the sort.

I think these overpriced fancy shotgun light gizmos are overdoing it for general use.
