OK

I have tried and I just don't get it, can't find it, searched it, googled it, and nothing.....

How does one put on the sling that comes with the Norinco AR15

what attaches to what and how, anyone have a diagram, a picture, video, or really good instructions

I am about to throw it out, which is what I probably should do, but would like to try and put this thing on at least once.....

Any and all help will be appreciated....

Thanks

Steps to mount your sling.

1) Chuck it in the garbage

2) Order a Blue Force Gear Vickers Combat Application Sling or Victory sling

3) Attach your rifle to the sling

4) Feel relieved knowing your sling will never fail you ;)

:agree: The truth is that no matter how hard you try, the Chinese "patrol" sling included with the Norc is, not to put it too strongly, absolute sh*t. Get yourself a Vickers, people will be so knocked out looking at your sling they'll forget to hurl bogus insults at your rifle. :D

Vickers all the way. I use one on my C7A1 in the field and the rifle lays flat against my back which gets it out of the way when I am doing my job as a Gunner but keeps it right at hand. 10/10.

Yepper their right, I have a BFG SOC-C for my Rem 700 and a BFG Vickers Vombat sling for my chinee AR15 and thinking of getting one for my Tac Shotty.

OK, now that we got that out of the way, and I do appreciate the get this or get that, but I would like to put the sling this rifle came with on. If this is not possible, I will get a new sling, but I really have no use for one, the rifle goes to the range, and back home.

Farmboy, perhaps I should have bought one of your slings, when I was in the store a few weeks ago, had I only known.....this was the only option.

perhaps on my next trip to your area, I might get one

Thanks to all for the advice so far

Have a pic of the sling for those us us who don't own a nork?

I own a BFG sling, but if you don't need one at the moment then a a pic may help people sort out the nork one for you.

Is it a tactical sling or a marksman's sling? Those damn things are a fuggin IQ test and no bones about it!

Seems like I always fail them with dismal regularity too...

Here ya go, straight from the C7 PAM:

Enjoy!

(I'm assuming you got a standard nylon sling with your Norinco.)

I was thinking the same thing, but don't know what sling norinco ships with the rifle so it may not apply.

He said he'll post pics tomorrow so I guess we'll see what's up then.

I'm figuring it's gotta be a cheap sling, and this is one of the cheapest kinds (generally). Although, if it happens to be something a little more "hunter-ish", or some bizarre Chinese contraption, than of course the diagram won't technically apply.

Likewise, should prove interesting to anyone with the same question as him or something like that....

If you are close enough to come back, bring the sling with you and I can help you sort it out. We can put it on one of the dummy guns I have in the store, which might make it easier for you to attach it to your rifle when you get back home.

Or like said, if you can post a pic of it laid out, I can walk you through it.

Thanks to all

I was PM'd a link, which seems to be of use (Thanks for the PM, I won't mention names but you know who you are, unless you want me to.......)

here is the link

I will try this out tonight

@Farmboy - Thanks for the offer, I might take you up on it, but next time I am in the area, it's almost a 2 hour drive, but if business picks up, I might be there more often.

I will still take a few pics of this sling, before I put it on, or at least try.....LOL

Cheers

Holy sh1t it is worse than I thought.

I never thought I'd see a sling that combines the worst aspects of a 3 point sling and a 1 point sling all in one package..... :bangHead:

Farmboy sort this guy out. :p
