How to post a poll?

I've been trying to figure out how to post a poll, can somebody tell me how its done. Yes I tried the search and FAQ but there dosen't seem to be anything on the subject.

I've been trying to figure out how to post a poll, can somebody tell me how its done. Yes I tried the search and FAQ but there dosen't seem to be anything on the subject.

In your own thread, go up to Thread Tools and select the pull-down menu. Select Add a poll to this thread and then compose your question.

Ah yes, I see it now. So first I have to post a new thread and than add the poll to it?
