Hello all i have a chance to buy this h ttp://www.remington.com/products/firearms/shotguns/model-870/model-870-express-super-mag-turkey-waterfowl.aspx shotgun for 350$ and it only has 2-300 rounds through it. The problem is i dont want the camo pattern so is it fairly easy to remove the finish or should i just buy a different shotgun?

Just try to keep it pristine. That usually causes it to go all to h#LL.

Seriously though, the stocks can be replaced easily and if you sell the camo ones you should come ahead. That only leaves the metal. Buffing with steel wool may work, but you don't know what Remington has under the camo. It may be bare metal which means you will need to do bluing or some other coating.

Overall I'd either buy it and use as is or wait and buy what you really want.

I think it is over priced and you could get it for a lot cheaper if somehow you could remove the camo before the purchase.

Oh boy. My above reply was a retarded attempt at a joke. Buy what you want but I don't think you can remove the camo.

I just bought the same gun brand new and bought because of the camo pattern, its a fantastic gun, but i dodnt ay that price brand new about a a hundred bucks less plus Ontario tax

WOW! Where on earth did you find a new 870 Super Mag in camo for $250.00?!?!?

I can't find regular Expresses for anywhere near $250.00 let alone the camo Super Mag
