I want to install one of the smaller sights. However I see no way to remove it. I have the allan key and it will move the back sight left to right but there is no way for it to reach the screw buried half way down inside the front sight.

The other two sights do have screws protruding from the top of them though.

Im lost.

The front sight has an Allen screw inside as you found out. The small allen key that comes with the
gun will allow you to loosen it and move the sight all the way out of the dovetail.
There should be 2 allen keys. The one for the front sight is the smallest one.

thanks colin. That is what I figured, however I #### you not, the allen key will not fit in that screw. It will not fit inside the screws in the other two front sights either. I using the shinny silver one, not the darker black one for the slide screw.

there should be 3 Allen keys that came with the gun the silver one is for the slide screw then the next smaller one is for the rear sight
and then the smallest one is for the front sight

3 keys should be there. The front sight key is very very thin. Should be in the bag with the front sights. Might be easy to miss.

3 is correct. I forgot about the one for the slide.

take the screw out first, it will slide out easily after.

most people replace the medium one with the high front sight. it worked better for me.

Thanks guys. I found it. It *had* fallen out inside the case. Given its size it was very easy to overlook. I feel silly but thanks for confirming it was a different size key and I knew what I was looking for then.

It is the smallest one I have ever seen. The first time I took my GSG to the range, I changed the front sight in the booth. I dropped the allen key & never found it. Fortunately Blue Line mailed me a new one.
