How to remove hydro dip

Any first hand experience removing hydro dip on a synthetic stocked shotgun? I would like to remove the dip on my shotgun. It is fully covered (barrel, both stocks, and receiver). Just seeing if anyone has some tips before I start experimenting with different methods.

I removed it from the metal on a rifle I have with a bead blaster. Had to spray the metal with Cerakote after though.

Reply from local hydro graphics shop:

Can't remove the old stuff. As the top coat is cured now and a new film wouldn't stick. We would just paint over the existing and get it dipped how you wanted.

Dunno if this works with factory dipped or old/cured dipped stuff...

The hydrographic companies I have contacted have said media blasting, or hydro dip over top of existing.

I've removed it from stocks with acetone.

Coarse sandpaper, or an angle grinder should do it
