How to remove Parkerizing?

I'm looking for some advise on how to remove parkerizing from an action and bottom metal. The action is an old Safari stamped M98 that I picked up to use on my 416 Taylor build. The finish has seen lots of use and I'd like to blue it along with the barrel after sights are installed. Is there any chemical or process other than simply sanding off the parkerizing finish to remove it? Here's a couple pictures of the action so you can see what I'm working with.

I don't have first hand experience with using it for removing parkerizing, but I have used Evapo-Rust for removing blueing, and according to their info, it will do the same for parkerizing:

EVAPO-RUSTTM is highly recommended by the NRA gunsmithing school and is utilized by FBI, CIA, NATO and other law enforcement and forensics agencies. EVAPO-RUSTTM perfect for removing weapon finishes such as Bluing, Parkerizing, Zinc Phosphate, and Browning. Anodizing, powder coating, chrome, nickel, ion bonding, paint, and most other coatings will not be removed as long as they do not contain oxides. EVAPO-RUSTTM will not harm lead or solder points.

It may be worth a try --- you can find it at Princess Auto, Canadian Tire, and Lee Valley, amongst others. It works great for other rust removal tasks, too.

Depending on the type of blueing, you may have to do some kind of sanding/polishing as I believe parkerizing leaves an etched surface to the metal. But on the rough surfaces in the pictures, just removing the parkerizing may be enough.
