I see it is staked in with a roll pin: do I just drift in all the way in until it drops out? I don't think it is possible to pull it out, per se- just keep drifting it in until it is through. What is the preferred method/tricks? Thanks
You hammer on it on the side the brass ejects on, the guide goes off on the scope mount side of the rifle![]()

Odd, the Sadlak and ARMS instructions I have say right to left when viewed from the rear by the shooter. Has always worked for me on several M14's.
