Once you think you have it set where you want it, make sure to give the side of the receiver a good whack with your hand, and slam the buttstock against the ground a few times. See if the sear disengages. If it does, add a bit more tension, or you'll get accidental discharges at random times, and those are lame.
 
Also rapidly open and close the bolt and watch/ feel for the firing pin to fall, do it 50 times.

When you close the bolt the sear sometimes "skips" out and the rifle fires. If this happens the trigger is probably set to light.
