How to stop .32rf rounds from spinning in cylinder?

Reloaded with the HC collection casings and bullets and #3 ramsets, but the rounds must be in the right position for the hammer to hit the rim... however they move around alot in the cylinder and basically almost guarantee misfires because of it ..

So im thinking to put a little piece of mild double sided sticker tape or something on the outside of the round and then put it in the cylinder? Would this effect it in anyway? Make it (more) dangerous to shoot at all?

Or if anyone has any other suggestions im all ears.

A little piece of masking tape on the case should help make it fit a little more snug into the chamber.

But if you use the 27 cal hilti ramset they can be put in and spin any direction and the hammer will still hit the rim
 
Yeah im just wondering if the extra tape would effect the pressurizing to an extent that may crack the already antique cylinder or something? But if the tape is only on the casing and behind bullet then it should be fine right?
 
Not if you use a little piece if masking tape. It doesnt have to wrap the whole case. Maybe a 1cm by 1cm square on one side. Closer to the rim as not to effect case expansion in the area that releases the bullet

Old low pressure cases dont mind and the tape crushed with a lot less pressure then it takes to do any damage.

Its pretty common in old guns to do that if they have rough chambers. You just want to snug it up a little. Dont wrapp the case so you have to hammer it in the cylinder.

I use the 27 cals in my 32's they work very well. Ive also used 22 cal ramsets on center and they worked in my little 30rf revolver. Although thats 30 rimfire not 32 so maybe lower hammer/stiker/pin
