How to stop people from stealing a pop up blind?

Get a better more remote spot, I hunt in difficult areas off the beaten path and have never had an issue, knock on wood. Most people I see hunting where I am at are slobs, they are out of shape and probably don't leave their truck or atv often maybe that's why my stuff hasn't been touched. I have come across cameras, blinds etc. and have always just turned around and gone to a different spot, but then again I am respectful and not a thief.

Believe me, this place is wayyyyy off the beaten path. I always take a boat to get in, which rules out almost anyone. This crook was just up to some other nefarious deed, maybe running away from something he shouldn't have been doing, and saw his opportunity. I've never met anyone else in there, ever.

Not giving the spot up, either. It's the holy grail of deer spots: a pinch point, WITH three different feed sources right at it, and when the wind blows the right direction, they have no way to tell you're there. Surrounded by break-your-neck cliffs and poke-your-eyes thorns.

I've hunted around my general area for 10 years and have never found a better spot than this. It always holds at least one mature buck, a nice younger buck, and a few spikes every year. I shot a beautiful 11 point there two years ago, and my brother-in-law and his best friend both took nice 6s out of there last year without even trying. And my cousin got a decent doe there as well, two or three years back. All out of my blind.

Guess I'll just have to work harder at a brush blind.

sucks to loose something but its a risk, I would plaster the inside with my name and a way to contact me, email addresses on gmail are easy, at least if its stolen they have to look at it each time its used, such a great spot but you need a blind?

myself I would post the guys picture, maybe someone knows him and give him #### for stealing, nothing to loose doing this and likely shame him for future actions.

My only issue is finding my blind crushed and shredded by some form of creature or nature. I'd say just put them in trafficked areas.

Sounds like a lot of people know about your spot even though it's remote. How many people have your brother-in-law, his best friend and your cousin been talking to.

Need a blind for sure. There's no way to hide without one--trees are all too small to hide in.
