how to unwax ammo?

The lube on SK Std plus is one of the reasons why this ammo shoots well in most 22s. If it doesn't extract well in your rifle, perhaps clean the chamber well with a nylon brush and try again. If it still doesn't work just sell the ammo to one of your buddies and buy whatever you like.

The target grade ammo has wax on it for a reason. It is a tighter fit, very tight tolerances, and for a target barrel. The wax provides lubrication, and coats the barrel. Thus the "seasoning" that some speak off immediately after cleaning. Don't use this ammo in non-target rifle. All ammo has some lubrication. If you clean it all off, you run the risk of metal fouling and wear. That won't matter to many people as they don't care about cleaning their 22s at all. Failure to eject is probably from excessive oil. Clean with a solvent, then lube only the parts the maker says to.

The link below has a very informative post from "Iowegan" on this topic. A former gunsmith...

This is odd. I've run 3k plus of SK through my MKII without issue. They do get sticky but never an issue in extreme cold or heat. You could probably sell to someone and buy more cheap ammo.

Good luck
