Glocks = plural, as in many Glock pistols (notice again that in this instance pistols is spelled pistols, and not pistol's)

Glock's = possessive, as in the Glock's trigger isn't always loved by everyone

Glock's = contraction, as in this Glock's (Glock is) a cheap but good gun

ie "Every one of those Glocks' triggers have a duel mode which will get you killed in combat."

But how to pluralize the concept of the plural possessive Glock?

For example...what if you wanted to describe two groups of Glocks, and identify the fact that issue with the 20 pound initial take up belonged to them all?

I recommend "Glocks'ss" or possibly "Gloxs's".

"All of the issues with Gaston Glock's Glocks are Glocxs's issues with which to deal."

how about: the incredible level of horrid writing on here by people who would otherwise want to be viewed as intelligent members of society.

hey, for fun, look at your sig! people appear intelligent until you read what and how they write...
 
I have to grudgingly agree. I have seen many letters posted here, that make very good arguments against the anti's, that were planned on being sent to various newspapers and news media. Some of them confuse there, their, and they're, or two, to, and too.

For the reader it diminishes the points made in the message.

Don't forget the the incorrect use of the word 'there' throughout the posts on this site. It drives me nuts that some people still can't figure out how or when to use the correct spelling!!!

There... It's over there. (a place)
Their.... It is their club. (possessive)
They're... They're going hunting tommorow. (contraction: they are)

Lets try to get it right shall we??

most of it is bang-on. one could deliberate on the freedoms' portion, though, since it could be:

"the one overall freedom" = freedom's

or

"the various freedoms awarded to us" = freedoms'
 
ipscgraz = don't you mean "antis" as in plural and not "anti's" as in possessive? :p

kbracey = don't you mean "throughout"? :p
