How tough is the SKS barrel?

My Chinese SKS had 2,000 rounds of CZ stuff through it already. Its accuracy virtually improved a little.....

How many more rounds will it survive?

Christ you could probably put 5-60.000, as long as you clean it well after each shooting session.
Of course I'm just guessing, but where its only a Semi auto It's ALOT.
Mine has had over 10,000 put through forsure and it still is as shiney as ever.

I know SKS barrels bend, so they can't be all THAT tough.
