I have an old Martini from 1889 with war stamps on just about every part, I've never shot it and I am consodering parting with it. Where to start.
Also. I have a "converted by N.R.A. W.W. Greener .22" in near perfect condition, Martini Enfiled from 1885. Is there anyone interested in this kind of stuff, is there a market for them or should I let them rot at the cottage?

Thanks for any input.

First thing: don't you let them rot out!
As for the rest, there were a couple Martinis that were sold lately on the boards. I guess external condition is important (surface, stamps, original finish, no sanding, etc...).
Now, if the piece is still untouched, depending on the originality and model, you can go from a low of $150 to mucho moolahs.
Pics would help a lot.

... and a patient woman she must be to share her digital camera skills for your hobby obsessions.

My wife would jump at the chance to take pictures of my rifles IF I was going to sell them  evil woman that she is :D

I would however just buy more. :dancingbanana:

lets see them pictures, now that I have one MH and I'm all set up to load 577-450 there really is not reason not to have another :D

I sold my Mark I to a American collector for US$1200. It was classified as an antique so there was no problem shipping to the US.

Do a search on American gun forums. There is a following on these type of guns down there.

Martini Henry

As a reference, here are the pics of the Marini Henry that I sold to the American collector.

He was very excited because he had a Mk II, III, an IV in his collection already and only one missing was the Mk I

I have to re-purchase the CD software. Wife threw it out. We have a new computer...here's an old pic of both of them. The rest will be posted sometime late on Sunday.
