How will you be compensated

I remember back in the pre ban days when workers would show up to the rig with their select fire rifles and light off a 30 round magazine, right off the platform.

Nobody said boo, nobody got hurt, still they were banned.

I wonder what happened to all those select fire, pre ban rifles....

a Ar ban or confiscation scenario would be way more dangerous than leaving them alone,because in a confiscation or buy back scenario,all these idiots would get is a stripped lower,leaving the rest in the air,and with an Ar lower about the easiest thing to make yourself..they're not exactly hard to make yourself. means the chances are pretty good that there will be a whole lot of now NON registered AR sitting all over..now if some unfortunate owner gets broken into and that undocumented AR gets stolen,i really doubt the owner will report it,LOL.so now we have a undocumented AR floating around in criminal hands and the cops aren't even looking for it,since nothing else of any danger was taken,,they'll fill out the report and cal it a day as usual.So in reality,leaving us alone is the SAFEST thing they can co,but as you know LIBTARDS are a little short on common sense.

They won't because, as you say later on in another post: they have our money. If one of my top five favorite sporting suppliers goes out of business (or all of them, for that fact) the Antis, the Liberals, the NDP, the Greens... they all see it as a victory to buy more votes. They expect gun shop owners like Mr.Wolverine and his employees to go on welfare, build "green energy" or become soy farmers.

When gun control doesn't buy them votes then they will move back to missing Indigenous women, climate change, oil pipeline spills, or whatever else they can. All these things including gun control for them is a currency to buy votes. The proof is in pandering to the lowest and most common denominator instead of trying to get real solutions.

I believe that in truth the Libs and other anti-gun political parties know that gun control doesn't work, so they have an infinite ability to use gun control and violence to buy votes from the continued death, suffering and violence by criminals to Canadians.
 
I’m thinking that there a lot of smart people out there in the industry who are probably already designing a upper and lower that can convert your AR into a bolt action or pump like the New Zealanders have done. Sure it sucks to lose the AR semi platform but maybe we can salvage as much as we can of it to retain it and just piss them off.
I am confident that the industry will find loopholes like they always do and then we will all buy it and keep the fun going

Wouldn’t the Libtards have to buy up all the store owners stock. Or could they transfer all their ARs etc to their personal collection.
Can the inventory be exported to the US or another country.Or would their be too much of a loss to do this.

See I don’t think regardless of what happens they are not going to win this fight and it will be nothing but headaches of endless paper trails and logistic nightmares. They just have not thought this through and have no idea what they are doing. Just like legalizing weed. They are pathetic and can’t even do that right

This was another thing the Harper Conservatives should have done while they had the chance, property rights in the charter, in addition to a rewrite of the firearms act. If this happened future governments would not have such an appetite for additional draconian gun laws.

I agree that they have no idea what they're doing, but unlike allowing you to smoke weed this is something that they're taking away from you, and governments will go to great lengths to secure power for themselves and restrict their subjects rights; namely their rights which allow them to function independent from the state.

If the Liberals get in there will be a buyback, but only for those willing to turn in their firearms. For those who refuse to forfeit their firearms there will only be more violence.

We have these tools at our disposal to ensure that our rights are not trampled on; that our property is not stolen by the government; to defend from those who want to commit violence. We're supposed to just hand them in?

First thing wrong with our present charter and a major wrong IMHO is that the government tells us what our rights ( privileges ) are when it should have been the citizens ( TELLING ) laying out the rules under which government can operate. Say what you want about the Americans , way back when those founding fathers GOT IT RIGHT !!!!!!

I don't like to see the term "Loopholes" used, much more a case of the industry working with and complying with the current and future "restrictions".

Until we read the fine print we can not do very much and to announce our plans now would be commercial suicide.

Just my personal opinion.
