Howa 1500

Can anyone give me some feedback on Howa 1500 rifles? My local shop has a good deal on one with Hogue over moulded stock and a nice BUrris scope and Im contemplating buying it. Its got a Burris fullfield 3-9x40 mounted and the rifle is in .308 win. They are selling it for 700. Brand new. Is this a good deal?

Looks like a typical price. Not great, but not bad either. Good rifle and scope.

My ex brother in law had one and it was a good gun with a very good trigger.

Mosberg ,S+W and Weatherby Vanguard all used the same action at one point or other..............Harold

I have the weatherby vanguard version of this action and i really like it. It cycles very easily and it is strong. You should get many years of trouble free use out of it. Good choice IMO.
