The grendel is an underated caliber and great for new hunters. Sadly I cannot reload in my appartment but I picked up some new barnes factory loads, 115gr ttsx-bt aka the tac-tx. These bullets are designed specifically for the grendel to open up down to 1600fps. they sell them as reloading componants under the tac tx line but its the same bullet in the factory ammo.

I like the look of that. I think one of these howa mini's in 6 ARC set up like that would be a fun toy. - dan

pro's, proprietary, may survive oic ban stuff
con's, size of a 20 round, AR 10 round mags are the size of howa 5 round plastic junkers

applaud them, and anyone, who tackles the howa Mattel garbage parts but it's still a bandaid approach, why couldn't it be one seamless staggered magazine instead of what looks to be a scab together bulky mess?

ruger still the better platform if quality magazines rank highly to the builder, and mdt has you covered with chassis for them too, and the much better magazines, all 7.62x39 and 6.5 grendels only a barrel away from being an 6 Grendel...I mean 6 Arc

I'd like to see them make those in a 5 round or better yet a convertible 3 round flush to 5 round or 10 round extended by adding different sized boxes and springs.

I cut down a factory 5 to a 3 rounder She’s FLUSH now ! RJ

MDT also released an aluminum trigger guard for factory stock inlet. Mag release has been moved to the rear to fix the possibility of an accidental mag drop

My bipod is a Magpul that goes down to 6.8". At this height I can make a fist and slide it under the MDT mag
