Any one here own a Howa Axiom?

Curious if they are good rifles or not. Would rather read from CGN'rs if they are good rifles before I go out and purchase one.

I have one in .223 , its built very well.Shoots nice.1in 12" twist. Haven't had time to do real testing.I like it.
 
I clearly know nothing about them, try the search.

My only advise is to handle one before you buy one.

How would you compare it to a Remington SPS Varmint? I have one in .308 but would like to get a Howa Axiom in 7mm just don't know anyone who has one here in Ontario.

I have one in .22-250...It shoots well but I don't care for the fit for myself. I wish I had picked it up and handled it before buying it. Seems to be a well built rifle...as mentioned its a Weatherby Vanguard basically...be sure to handle one before purchasing...thats my only advice...you may not like the stock and the fit....I will never buy another rifle without handling it first.

I was wondering about those. Would you need a long eye relief scope? It seems like on a cal like 7mm that with the shock absorbing stock it could drive that scope back into your brow. Anyone have experience with one in a larger cal?
