I wouldn't imagine people using run of the mill corrosive in it.

Typically people buy the 7.62x39 and rebarrel them to 6.5 Grendel. I think it's the only one with a similar boltface.

I don't want to be a party pooper, but if I'm not mistaken, how is it more money to get this than get a mini rifle kit (with scope) and oryx separate?

Two piece Rem 700 bases work. That's what I'm currently using as they were all I could find locally. MDT makes a one piece rail as well
