Howa Ranchland Compact, now has pictures

I was half looking for one of these and picked one up at Barton's in GP.
I originally went in for a browning xbolt(that 60 degree bolt lift is awesome) but the lower price, inclusion of a scope, shorter barrel, and the hogue stock sold me on the Howa. It's 308win. The scopes seems mounted a little high, I'd like to get a lower base or rings. Maybe a smaller scope too, 2-7x or similar. Won't have any trigger time with it till I'm back on PEI though

What's it chambered in, and what did they ding you for it?

What does it weigh?

Specs say 7.15lbs
Mine is in 308win, also come in .223, .22-250, 243, 204, and 7mm-08

Hoping I can convert it to a detachable magazine in the future, some people already have.

I think it came out to around $700, I don't have a receipt handy.

Still haven't shot the F-ing thing. But got some pictures...
Ditched the rings and base that came with it and replace them with Warne rings and 2 pc base
I plan on having CDI Precision Gunworks convert it to detachable magazine.

Just how compact is it compared to say... a ruger compact? Also, how about LOP? Very nice, I like.

20 inch barrel vs 16 inch...... about 4 inches shorter.

Magazine holds 5+1, pretty nice.
