Howa rifles

I have a Howa 1500 in 22-250 HB stainless and it shoots like a laser. Great rifle. I was a died in the wool Remington, then Savage guy. I'd get a Howa now over either. Great trigger.

Ssssshhhhhh!!!!

Would you guys quit talking about Howa rifles please. Nobody knows about them and they are the bargain of the decade (imho). I want to buy a few more before they become popular and the prices go up.
I bought a 6.5x55 from P.R. as a present for my daughter and the entire family was impressed with the rifle. Easily shoots MOA or better if the soft spot behind the recoil pad does their job.

I had a Howa 1500 varmint .308 with a 20" HB and black hogue stock. When I bought it it was very similar to an SPS tactical but $100 cheaper. After bedding into a B&C A2 it shot right around 1 moa quite consistently. On an average range trip I could count on a handful of 1 moa groups with a few 1.25 to 2 moa and the odd .75 and even .5 here and there. 1 moa was the norm for a good 5 shot string where I felt I did my part well without luck's help. Fairly smooth action and an ok factory trigger for a novice shooter. A Timney is a good investment if 1.5 lb is low enough for you. I regret selling it and may look for another in the future.

Three questions.....

Where did you get it?

What caliber?

How much for the GRS model?

Local gun store called Gobles... London On

Got mine in 6.5 CM (they have the 223 model also in stock)

GRS
Regular $1,511.95
Mine was ON SALE for 1339.00 (200 bucks off!)

I had handled the bergara and went with the GRS. Also Weatherby offers an accuracy guarantee I have not had one rifle that was not SUB MOA from them. Ive owned 4.
Not to mention on sale it was much cheaper then the bergara. About the same when not on sale.

Fits my hand PERFECTLY but beware, you may want to hold one as the palm swell is a one size fits all... If you have small hands... You may have issues with trigger pull.

looks wonky but feels great!
