Hi.
new to CGN forums. I was out in Edson last week and got not one but two fellow hunters giving props for this site.
I'm a new hunter, aside from some yeehaw shoot-em-up pepperoni moments that made me quit hunting in the Maritimes...
I just couldn't take the poor discipline. I've been in the military for 19 years and counting, so I waited to get home to Alberta, where I first learned about gun safety and hunting anyways.
Not much I haven't seen in the way of military small arms, but the world of single shot, Bolt action and other fine rifles is new to me. I have always loved weapons and their uses, but I've got a lot to learn in the hunter's way...
I own a Ruger .22-250 and a Karl Gustav 6.5 x 55mm.
Regards.
