How're your Glock G48's so far?

I got small hands and short fingers, I can shoot the G48 better than the full size guns even the recoil is snapper. Finally a gun I can hold properly and have the finger on the trigger where it is supposed to be. Second outing I was busting out .17 splits. Loving it.

So looking forward to shooting this pistol this weekend. Will hopefully make up my mind between the 19 and the 48 at that point.

By the way Greentips, what distance do you do your split trials at? I gather seven yards is the norm but sometimes read people using five or ten yards. Just wondering.

My splits are about a 1/4 second at 12yds.
Shooting steel ipscs so I don't want to be too close and get splash back.

Best stock Glock trigger I have felt. It will not be more accurate like my shadow custom but it is really fun to shoot and fits perfectly in my hands.

I like it more than G17/G19, probably enjoy shooting it more than my 226 as well.

Shot the 17 Gen 5, the 19x, and the 48 at Glock Day at Silverdale yesterday. I used the 17 as a reference as I shoot them relatively well and know what to expect from one.

All I can say is the 48 is not for me and probably would not own one unless it was free. The 19x on the other hand was a pleasant surprise. The really tight grouping, fit and feel made it the clear winner of my "if I only owned one Glock" contest.

Thanks to all the great people at Lanz and the Glock reps who answered my questions, especially the lady Glock rep who knew more about these pistols than most.

I know lots of operators love the G19x and G45 due to the slide being shorter so in a duty holster it's easier to sit down, especially in a car. This while having a full length grip for more control.
Anecdotally it's a bit faster to clear leather and quicker sights on target in the recoil cycle
Personally I think I'd prefer a G17 at that point.

Really the G19x and G48 fulfill a different role. Ones a uniform duty gun intended for OWB carry. The others a CCW gun intended for IWB.
