How's This For A Spanky Truck Gun - Mini-14!

I was wandering in our local gun store and saw this Butler Creek Folding Stock for my Mini-14.

Feels good, folds nicely and maybe a 1/2 lb heavier than wood stock. I think it looks a little more bad-a$$ with the goofy handguard removed too.

To each their own! I prefer the classic wood stock mini, but if it suits your purposes, enjoy!!

The proof will be in the shooting. Frankly I think you'll have trouble getting a repeatable cheek weld on the steel frame stock with the scope so high. I'd be thinking in terms of fashioning a raised cheek piece to solve the problem, if you find there is one.
