HP 9 compatibility with 870 accessories (IE factory folder)

Would a Norinco HP 9 be compatible with most 870 accessories, such as barrels, the factory folder and a tacstar foregrip? I know the so-called "homeland security" series are not compatible, but I have heard members talking favorably about the HP 9 adapting almost seamlessly to Remington parts and accessories.

Only problem I know of is the barrels, and that only affects the 18.5" HP9 which has a non-standard barrel lug location.

Only prob I've seen is they use a different thread bolt for the stocks. But that's a simple fix with a trip to the nut and bolt store

We build lots with 870 parts, no prob.

If using a 14" HP9 then installing the Remington factory folder would make it a prohib unless it was modified so it could no longer close. If you're talking about an 18" or longer barrel then carry on.

ive got a 14" and i was using a long remington 870 barrel on it today, no problem fits it like a glove.

I have a HP9 (14" barrel) and a remington 870 with a 26" goose barrel. I can interchange the barrels without problem. I had an ejector fly out on me though and the remington ejector plug is like .010" to big so I had to ream out the carrier just barely to make a 870 part fit and now it functions great. Those Hp9's are great guns!! Equally as reliable.
