Could I swap the norinco 14inch barrel with a remington 18.5 inch?

will the remington Barrel go on chicom or is it a no go?

Thanks.

Thinking about throwing one on with a bayonet.
 
Yes it will fit...as long as it is a HP-9 and not the cheaper Norinco model (It is called the model 870 Homeland security or something like that)

HP9 receiver with just about everything else Remington. No issues with fit of Remington parts at all.

Generally true but some rem barrels can be a bit tight on the Nork just like the Norinco barrels can be a bit loose on a Remington. They usually sit a bit twisted in the receiver as well when you mix them up but most people don't notice it.
