When we bought this model of Norinco 12ga 14", it was purchased as the
HP-9.
On the CFO cert under model it is HP-9 and on gun it is 780, the guns were sold to us and imported as HP-9, we had no plan to mis inform.

Then why does your website still refer to it as the HP9 when it clearly is not?

I have purchased guns and ammo from Armand. He seems like very friendly and genuine guy. I have never been to his store, but they seem like they are big enough to get what you need, yet small enough to care about the customers.

You can't go wrong ordering from Badger.

Not my experience at all. I bought a brand new rifle that had major problems. He left me totally on my own to get a warranty claim done. His responses, when he returned my calls - totally ignored my emails, was he didn't know who did the warranty work and I would have to pay all the shipping charges back and forth to him so I was better off taking care of it myself. He always had lots of detailed excuses but having been in sales most of my life I have a very finely tuned BS detector. This false advertising (but he does have an excuse for it) is another example of his true character.

Exactly.

I agree. I will soon post details of my transaction.(waiting for my money back).I am extremely dissappointed with their service, and would never deal with them again. Once they have the money, I never could get ahold of them again. Prior to sending the money,my questions were answered within half an hour. After the money was deposited, the communication ended.

You cannot tell me that these guys don't know that they are selling 780's instead of HP-9s. You guys kissing his ass are pretty lame. This guy is ripping people off. I hope you guys are satisfied with this great customer service! I will be spreading the word to all the shooter's I know about this place. Good job guys!

Sorry I'm missing the "ripping people off" part,

He called me personally on Christmas eve morning, and corrected the hp9/780 issue, apologized, admitted to an error, offered me a full credit or a refund to keep at a better price than his competition.

Amends made, let's move on.

In the last two weeks, I have just purchased and received
1000 rds of 556 ammo at well below anybody elses price,
and an SVT-40 for $289.00. w:h:

Did I get ripped off there?

He's a sponsoring dealer of this forum, I'm sure he's got better things to do than intentionally piss off the entire CGN community.

Agreed although I have never deal with him before but I do believe as a Canadian gun owners we should get together to prolong our gun ownership and if we all got upset by not getting the best customer service for one incident and put these people out of business the only benefit I can see is from the Liberal, because eventually we will all lose and they have one less sporting arms store to deal with.

I wasn't going to comment again, but I feel I must. Just because someone is a gun dealer or sponsor of CGN doesn't automatically make them a reputable business. This guy should be an expert on the product he is selling, yet he still advertised a shotgun as one thing when it was another. To several posters he sold faulty product without providing any sort of support and also took money for product he did not have(also happened to me) and then ignores calls/emails and makes you jump through hoops to get your money back. There are many amazing dealers on this site and Badger Arms is just not one of them.
I do recommend Questar, Wolverine, Tradex, One Shot Tactical and Prophet River - I have done mail order with all of them. Some orders had problems and they were fixed quickly, easily and totally to my satisfaction, which is what a truly reputable gun dealer or business in general is going to do.

If the market is there, someone will come along and fill the void. Basically, you are saying that even if the service is completely ####, we should bend over and take it?
There are plenty of dealers here on CGN who I have dealt with, who have been top notch, and actually communicate after they recieve the money.

Put this HP-9/780 ripoff in to the terms of a deal on the Equipment Exchange. Or any of these instances of pathetic/shady service. It is Unacceptable, whether from a Dealer or an individual. There are numerous dealers on here that have had Zero customer service issues, just like there are guys on the EE with trader ratings of 100 or more that are ALL positive. They are people that live by their word, which is the most important thing you have when purchasing over the internet. This pattern of ####ty service is a disgrace. If some of these instances happened on the EE, the guilty party would most likely be banned from this sight, as they should be.

I just also wanted to say that Armand was still good to deal with, I know they were busy over Christmas time. He also gave me a free flash hider because their smith was backlogged. All in all I would have no hesitation dealing with him again. His prices are great, in my case, a couple hundred dollars cheaper on the rifle I wanted, best prices anywhere. In the end I got everything I wanted and a freebie to boot.

I have had great service with badger just traded a gun with him and that would make it about 16 different deals with him and will gladly make 16 more.

WOW! Hp9 780

I seen this post come, the truth come out without me having to post a word.
Now the blood thirst starts. It was an honest fuc* up. All how bought this gun all 87 of them have been paid out. The deal was like this.
$119 for gun shipped and refund remainder or send it back and full refund will be issued. This has been done! Has anyone not been paid out on this mix up?

CFO paper work shows it as HP9, I had been expecting both and sold it as such When it was pointed out to me about 780, it was quickly fixed and all people involved were called and paid out.

We to have delivery issues and we do our best not to get into them, holidays and other behind the curtain crap can and will pop up.

I'm sure all who ##### about our service never have a sick day or screw up at work and have perfect lives. We here at Badger are real people who make mistakes, its how you fix the problems when they come about that matters. We will all make mistakes from time to time and in this game we count on our importers and other dealers to provide goods with trucking and all that entails, if crap can happen it will. We continue to learn every day.

This site used to be about guns and now sounds like a small town coffee shop...##### ##### #####!!!

We fix our problems as they arrive.

#1 guy with gun that had problems, we directed him to the importer as instructed by S&W.

#2 all refunds have been cashed on HP9 mix up

#3 guy who was short 500rds 223 and mag, we were shipped lead RN instead of FMJ. And over Xmas shipping was dead. We also gave this man a free muzz break and $100 refund on order as a result of not enough time to apply muzz break , all after 14 emails and many calls as he was making up his mind and waiting for his pal in mail. These goods have been sent and I'm sure picked up.

#4 Xmas was very busy time of year and slowest for mail and trucking.

We have a side to the story, just ask us!

The customer is not always right, those who work with the public know this best.

We will continue with great prices and new products, the arm chair gun owning perfect people of this and other forums can stew in your puter coffee time chit chat  and feel good about the way they speak sh*t.

The rest of us will remain getting great deals with little problems and less bitc*ing.

A forum on bad buyers, not a bad idea!

I haven't dealt with Badger Arms officially, but I've called a couple times I believe his name is Armand. Great guy, very friendly service, polite, and I personally am going to order from there....when I have some money again

I like dealing with him... Nice guy fun to chat with ect..
