it came in today, i pulled it apart to clean it and oil it up, everything was going well until i put it back together and noticed the pump has some slack in it. it seems to slide back a little on its on when i stand the shotgun upright. im guessing thats probably because everything has been oiled. but the problem now that im seeing is that the tactical pump itself is moving around side to a side. as if i grab it with my forward hand and twist it closewise and counter clockwise and it moves too much. i cant figure out how it attaches or comes off, thinking maybe i can shim it or its come loose, or if its like the butt stock it wasnt tightened down properly.

Usually you clean the packing grease when you get a new gun, you don't need to oil "everything".
The forearm sliding back is normal. It only stays locked forward when the shotgun is cocked.
I'm not sure about your second issue with the forearm, but none of mines are perfectly tight. They move a bit.
there will be some play in the action bars, it will twist on the mag tube and slide back and forth a little, thats common with all pumps. unless the forend is sliding back and forth on the slide tube, I wouldnt be worried about it
Some wiggle is inherent in the action
With empty gun:
Close action, pinch the two slide rails to immobilize them and then try to move just the forend back and forth. If the forend is actually loose it will move fore and aft when the rails are isolated.
Alternately take the forend assembly off the gun and check the forend for tightness.

i got it figured out, the retards who put the new forend on didnt tighten the big nut on all the way and it was causing it to move around. tightened it up its tight now
I was just going to say, forend will be loose.
now make sure you dont cross thread that nut, its very easy to do.
allso make sure that the gap on each side of the forend as it come past the receiver is the same or the gu nwill be hard to pump.

this stuff didt look like grease but some nasty oil, regardless the trigger assembly was bon dry soi cleaned it and oiled it, same with the bolt, and it took about 6 swabs till the barrel came clean, before that it was giving off some fantastic looking black crap. regardless its ready to go now, now the nerv racking part of shooting it for the first time and hoping it doesnt blow up in my hand, lol.
