I am pretty sure this question has been answered before.

is the norinco hp9 inerchangable with the 870? the accessories , rails , stocks barrels and foregrips are all interchangeable? whats the chambering?

Whant to but a 870, buy i can get a hp9 with an 14inch barrel for 300 bucks.

I have an HP9, it fits most 870 stuff. However some are slight off abit and things like foreends may or may not fit. The OD on my HP9 forend was off, I changed it to an 870 and it was able to fit a Surefire forend or other usual ones.

I've been able to swap 870 parts and bits in and out of my Norc HP9 with ease. Like the forend, the HP9 steel forend was a little goofy. I swapped it with my buddy's 870 Express forend and we are both happy. Then I replaced all my black factory furniture for some RealTree Hardwoods pattern OEM Remington Factory furniture. Got the Elmer Fudd / Bubba look instead of the zombie killer / tacticool/ mirror Kommando look!

I've been very happy with my HP9 ever since CGNutter Plink turned me on to these units. Lots of fun and the registration certificate says: Barrel UNDER 470mm!

I tired to put a 870 barrel on mine, but it required some simple mods to fit properly.

however, others have done the same without issue.

i was wondering the same thing, i was thinking of changing out for a 16 or maybe 18 inch bbl and the long mag tube on my norcy. but seems to be not an issue.

power pill what mods did you have to make for the barrel to fit?

What kind of forend does it take? The "new" (with the extra tab on the left arm?) or "old" style? Or does it even matter?
