HR light primer strikes fix?

I have an HR single shot 22 k hornet. I had a new firing Lin put in as the old one was bent, I now have nothing but light primer strikes. Is there a fix for this? New main spring? Longer firing pin? What? I've tried 4 primers and all are light strikes.....

Sounds like the new replacement firing pin is too short. Did the gunsmith who installed it not test it before giving it back to you?

He claims he did but I don't think he's a reputable smith.... I need a new one.

Check the rod going thru the main spring and make sure it's straight.
