Hs-6

much too fast!! It is designed for shotgun and some hand gun. If you don't see it in a manual don't use it. Remember the chamber is awfully close to your face.
 
i do have a few reloading manuals and i have read it, that is exactly why i,m asking this question ,for instance UNIQUE is a faster powder than the HS-6 and everybody uses it.
My question again is if anybody have used this powder with decent accuracy?
 
Some faster burning powders are very position sensitive and should not be used for reduced loads or any loads in large rifle cases. Unique has proven over many years to not be position sensitive and works well in reduced rifle loads. I would only use powders that show up in published data for your rifle, the pressure testing has been done, and you are not the guinea pig!

Nobody uses Unique, Bullseye or other fast pistol powders in rifle calibers apart for fireforming brass with a very small charge topped with CreamOfWheat and a Parowax stopper over it.
Another use is 12-13 grain of Red Dot with all 30 caliber rifles for plinking cast lead bullets at very moderate velocities.
Anything else is dangerous.
