HS Precision dealer?

We are the one of the largest HS dealers in Canada and currently have about 30 guns in stock. HS used to sell to individual dealers and distributors but they had problems with paper work and now use only one Canadian importer/distributor. Due to the fact that there a middleman between the manufacturer and the dealer this has increased prices somewhat. HS only builds about 1000 guns a year for sale to the general public (not counting LE or military) and about one third of those have gone to Canada in the past couple of years. HS has been a great company but lead time for delivery on special oders have often been from 6-12 months. Phil.
Well I had some time today I didn't think I would have so I did some phoning. I will post the info for anybody that might search for this someday.
I called HS in the USA hoping they would ship here like McMillan but they dont and they said they haven't done individual dealers for a long time. They have one importer they use and he's in manitoba.
So I phoned him and while he stocks some of there stocks he can't ship to personal addresses but he will direct you to your closest dealer in your area and he can get it for you. Prices should be very close to the same for everybody.
So of course he didn't have the one I wanted in stock so I am going to be on a wait list as HS Precision makes him wait till he gets a big enough order before they ship cause of the paperwork involved.
All people involved were very helpfull. I was satisfied with the customer service.
